Whether it’s an aged farmhouse built on a country road, a small lake hidden within rolling hills, or an old, long-standing shack constructed in a stand of maple trees, Bill Saunders is renowned for his ability to capture the comfort and calm of idyllic landscapes. These settings, any many other enchanting woodland scenes, are what Bill loves and tries to showcase through his paintings, which we are proud to feature on LANG calendars, puzzles and more!
Bill Saunders’ art focuses on realism through the use of acrylics, which helps to capture the most important details. His artwork has been showcased in innumerable art galleries and shows since 1968, and as the demand for artwork continued to grow, Bill chose to leave his position with BP Canada in 1977 to focus exclusively on painting. Today, his work can be found across the United States and Canada.
Today, Bill works out of his home studio in Oshawa, Ontario. He shares his home with his wife, Bonnie, and Hogan, a dog who has been featured in several of his paintings. For more information on Bill Saunders and other popular LANG artists, visit the LANG Artist Collections section!
